The University Scholars program offers an opportunity for students to prepare for admissions to the most prestigious universities and colleges.
A University Scholar student on a fast track program...
- will participate in an academically challenging program to meet the entrance requirements for the University of California programs.
- will participate in activities related to the college selection and admission process.
Higher Learning With High TechnologyCabrillo High School's University Scholars program prepares students to become competitively eligible for a U.C., C.S.U., or private university of their choice.
Who Is Eligible?
- Incoming 9th grade students who have maintained a competitive GPA
- Students who are ready to take Geometry in their freshmen year
- Students who come highly recommended from their Middle School teachers
- Students who have an impressive citizenship and attendance record
- Positive students with a strong desire to learn and excel at a faster learning pace
University Visits:
- The University Scholars of Cabrillo High School will have more than enough required courses to attend the University of their choice.
- It is the program's intent to insure that the scholars have been exposed to several university visits before their graduation.
- The University Scholars of Cabrillo will visit Universities regularly. This allows each student to see what makes each school unique from the other.
