The Cabrillo School for Social Justice (CSSJ) Small Learning Community will provide students with the opportunity to explore social issues, law and government, human relations, leadership and culture as they relate to the functioning of a viable democracy.

While preparing for college and careers, the curriculum offers students...
  • the opportunity to actively participate in the democratic process through the Building Bridges Camp.
  • the opportunity for student autonomy by selecting a content cluster in which to concentrate their studies. (the law, cultural studies, media and communication, and participation in Mock Trial, Model Congress, or Academic Decathlon)
  • a Senior Portfolio project consisting of experiences and reflections in social justice.
